Live Music & Dancing
The entertainment kicks off at 3:00 PM with Gristle (groove rock). Featuring members of the Hot Llamas, Topia Vana, and Mercy Buckets, brings an irresistible blend of upbeat, high-energy jams. Their funky flavor and soulful vocals will have you grinning and grooving all night.
At 5:00 PM, the Sweater Weather String Band leads the Family Dance, an easy-to-follow group dance suitable for all ages and experience levels. Family Dance is similar to a contra dance, but with simpler group steps. Rosie Sharpe from Five Acre School will guide the first 45 minutes, while Sweater Weather provides the lively music. It’s a fun, interactive experience for everyone!
Following the Family Dance, Sweater Weather String Band (folk-rock fusion) takes the stage at 5:45 PM for a 45-minute set, blending old-time, honky-tonk, Celtic, and indie rock influences. Known for their wildly danceable sound, they’ve brought their energetic music to festivals, folk dances, and bars across the Northwest.
Mars Garden (country funk) headlines at 7:00 PM wrapping up the evening with their blend of funky grooves and country twang.
Featuring local legends Kim Trennery and Jason Mogi of Deadwood Revival, the band delivers tight harmonies and funky jams with electric guitar, keys, bass, and drums, crossing genres for an unforgettable performance.
You can find Mars Garden on Facebook.
